Registration: 6:45pm, Events: 7:00pm
Registration begins at 6:45pm - we would like to start the events promptly at 7pm as
usual. If you are able to arrive early to help set up it would be greatly appreciated. Please note, the
theme just serves as a guide on how to
decorate your boat but not a requirement.
- Reshaping of the sail will be allowed (cup shaped design) and the scout is not
required to use the mast.
- You are not required to use the rudder and the keel
- Re-designing the hull will be allowed as long as the hull is not made longer or
wider.
- Catamaran styles are not allowed.
Hints
There are materials available to decorate your boat available at the Scout store, hobby stores and the ACE hardware store in Palatine on NW Hwy.
In the event of a catastrophic design flaw, the boat style we use is being discontinued, but there may be a few available at the above mentioned store or if you call Mrs. Bertermann.
